This country house was built in the 15th Century and was fully refurbished in 1992 to be opened to the public that same year. This classic house has a floor area of 400 m² and is in excellent condition. The house was the holiday residence of Alfonso XIII. Its decor and furniture maintain all the charm of the original country manor house. The garden and house are surrounded by a 3-metre high wall. You can take part in agrotourism in the surrounding area. The house is part of the group of lodgings known as GÎTES. In 1999 it won the National Catalan Tourism Award for Best Country House in Catalonia.
The two-storey house sleeps 11 persons. The 5 rooms are on the second floor (4 double and 1 triple). All rooms have a hair dryer and two have a lounge. There are also a cot and 4 extra beds available.

In the Terra Alta region you can visit the Centre Picasso d'Horta museum where you will find important works of art by this prestigious painter. The following trips and visits are also on offer: - Vía Verda, route approx. 30 km. Designed for bikes, horses, walking or covered wagons. - Cultural visits to the town of Horta de San Juan, 1 km, where you will find the old medieval quarter, the San Salvado and Madre de Dios de los Ángeles Monastery, the old medieval prison and two museums. One of these is the Picasso museum, as mentioned previously. Of course, we must remind you that the brilliant painter lived in Horta on two occasions and it was in this town that his cubist period began. - Wine route. This is a route around the villages, approx. 22 km, along which you can visit the cooperatives (modernist style, designed by architect César Martinell who was one of Gaudí's disciples) where you can watch wine making demonstrations.
